Jailbreakers who depend on the ElleKit tweak injection method to use jailbreak tweaks on their device might be interested in knowing that there’s an update to the package as of Tuesday afternoon. The latest update brings ElleKit up to version 1.1.3.
ElleKit lead developer @eveiyneee first shared the news about the latest ElleKit update in a series of posts shared to X (formerly Twitter), and from what we can gather, the update brings the following changes to end users:
– Add movk, adrp and others to the arm64 assembler clobber check, which notably fixes hooking functions starting with ptrauth_auth_* functions (method_getImplementation) and fixes hooking _dyld_get_image_name
– Fixes arithmetic in the branch check logic
– Improves the injector to make it more resilient to malformed plists (thanks to @dhinakg)
– Adds missing elements from the libhooker/mobilesubstrate API
– And more, check out our GitHub repo for all the changes
Existing ElleKit users are recommended to update to the latest version at their earliest convenience because ElleKit is such an important and integral part of jailbreaking modern devices. Why? Because basically every jailbreak tweak you use on the Dopamine jailbreak, and perhaps other modern rootless jailbreaks such as palera1n, makes use of it.
The latest version of ElleKit can be had from the official ElleKit repository via your favorite package manager app, and as we noted in a previous post, it’s important that you only download ElleKit updates from the official repository – not from any third-party sources.

It should be self-evident, but ElleKit v1.1.3 does not include support for iOS & iPadOS 18. We only just reported that there is still one checkm8-vulnerbale iPad that can run iPadOS 18, so should only be a matter of time before it sees initial support. It seems that @eveiyneee is “waiting for more info” before making this happen.
