With the new iPad Pro 11” and 13” devices, OLED is finally now an option in the Apple tablet space. Having enjoyed OLED on the iPhone X and subsequent iPhone Pro devices, the struggle to add OLED to the iPad is finally over. Gone are the white and gray blooming effects of the mini LED from previous generations. The new Tandem OLED iPad Pro true black wallpapers can take advantage of the near unlimited contrast ratio.
iPad Pro 13″ vector wallpapers

For the last six years, I have enjoyed the brilliance and deep blacks of LG’s OLED tv’s. Most recently, I upgraded to their 83” OLED model and I am even more enamored with the contrast ratios and HDR capabilities. Consequently, I really never consumed HDR content on my iPads. The previous iPad panels left me completely wanting from a color and contrast perspective. Of course, watching content on a massive TV is great, but I’m willing and sometimes prefer to consume content on my iPad because of its versatility. I’ve found that with the new OLED panels in the iPad, it is genuinely as incredible as a top-end television.
The following vector style wallpapers use black, dark gray, and bright imagery to take advantage of the new iPad Pro OLED panels contrast range. My favorite from the gallery is included last. A rocket blasts incredibly bright white, orange, red fire into pure black (hex #000000) space, as it ascends to Saturn. I have this one set as my iPad Pro 13” Lock Screen, slightly offset, so the rocket is pushing past the on-screen clock. Which is your favorite?
