As Spring is in full swing, fading quickly into Summer, we capture the natural beauty of the butterfly in these downloads for iPhone and iPad. A range of colorful butterflies and flowers or plants bring a strong pop of color and life to an otherwise cold piece of glass and metal. Who says technology can’t honor the natural surroundings?
Butterfly wallpapers for iPhone and iPad
When searching for great options, I usually include five downloads on the iDB Wallpapers of the Week posts; however, on the subject of butterflies, it was really hard to pick just a handful of backgrounds. Consequently, I ended up with more of a “pack” of downloads, lacking the ability to narrow my choices to just a few.
The downloads were curated from unsplash.com, a license-free photographer community that openly shares their creative work. Each of the following downloads are offered in their original canvas size, which is large enough for an iPad or even a portrait oriented desktop monitor in most cases.
My favorite is featured first. The orange butterfly on top of a very rich, orange flower is a blast of color, especially on the new iPad Pro 13″ OLED screen, if you were able to pick one up on launch day. You can set the same images as either horizontal or vertical in settings on your iPad devices to take advantage of the large canvas size.
If you enjoyed any of the individual styles, find even more photographs by visiting each artists unsplash.com gallery: Amy Baugess; Karina Vorozheeva; Elisa Stone; Aaron Burden; David Clode; Sagar Kulkarni; Yuichi Kageyama; Nupo Deyon Daniel; Arun Clarke; Joshua J. Cotton; Aslam Baig.
