SnoozeLabels puts the actual name of your alarms on snoozed alarms

Normally when you snooze an alarm on your iPhone, the snooze countdown timer users a general and non-descriptive title such as “Snoozing.” If you snooze more than one alarm, then discerning each one can get confusing very quickly.

That’s why iOS developer 0xkuj is out today with a new and free jailbreak tweak called SnoozeLabels, which as you can see in the before and after screenshot examples above, replaces the boring “Snoozing” title with the actual title of the alarm being snoozed.

The obvious benefit to this tweak is that you can now tell the difference between all the snoozed alarms you have going on at once. Thanks to this, you aren’t guessing which snoozed alarm belongs to which.

While this might not make sense for someone who uses alarms for waking up in the morning, people who regularly use their iPhone’s alarm system as a reminder system would feel otherwise. That’s because people who do this are likely to set multiple alarms, some overlapping.

According to 0xkuj in the /r/jailbreak release post, SnoozeLabels was created as a bounty for a user who wanted this functionality for daytime reminder-based alarms, so it’s easy to see what type of person this would be tailored to.

If you’re interested in giving SnoozeLabels a try, then you can download it for free from the YouRepo repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 15 & 16 devices and is open source on the developer’s GitHub page.
