Here are HomePod prices in Turkey, Malaysia and Thailand

Although customers in the above countries can pre-order their HomePod or HomePod mini beginning today, the speakers won’t start shipping before May 10, which is when local Apple stores will start carrying them, too. Authorized third-party retailers in the countries may offer HomePods at a later stage.

Prices are as follows:

  • Turkey
    • HomePod: 11.999TL
    • HomePod mini: 3.999TL
  • Malaysia
    • HomePod: RM1,549
    • HomePod mini: RM529
  • Thailand
    • HomePod: ฿11,490
    • HomePod mini: ฿3,890

Over in the United States, the full-size HomePod, now in its second generation, costs $300, while the smaller HomePod mini is cheaper at $99 a pop. The iPhne maker offers six months of free music streaming with HomePod and HomePod mini purchases, provided the customer wasn’t subscribed to Apple Music before.

The second-generation HomePod launched in January 2021 following the original 2018 model while its smaller brother made its debut in November 2020.

While neither model has been refreshed since then, Apple has been adding new features to them via regular software updates.

When will the next HomePod drop?

The rumor mill claims Apple tested a screen-equipped HomePod in its labs. Code strings that suggest this possibility were discovered in the tvOS 17.4 software, which was the current version of the Apple TV operating system as of this writing.

Apple usually adds such references and identifiers to prerelease software in anticipation of new hardware launches, but the jury is still out on when new HomePods might drop. If you ask Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we won’t get a HomePod featuring a built-in display before 2025 at the earliest.
