Misaka v3.2.8 adds support for more beta versions of iOS, adds new icons

Misaka, the package manager app that became popular for hosting MacDirtyCow and kfd exploit-centric hacks and add-ons, received another update Friday afternoon, this time bringing it up to version 3.2.8.

The latest update, announced via the Misaka Discord server, appears to introduce the following changes:

– Added some icons
– Added support for beta versions of iOS
– iPhone XR: iOS 16.2 beta 1 (20C5032e)
– iPhone 13: iOS 16.5 beta 3 (20F5050f)
– iPhone 12: iOS 16.3 beta 2 (20D5035i) & iOS 16.4 RC (20E246)
– iPhone 13 Pro Max: iOS 16.4 RC (20E246)
– iPhone 12 Pro Max: iOS 16.2 beta 3 (20C5049e)
– iPhone 11: iOS 16.3 beta 1 (20D5024e)

As it would seem, the latest version of Misaka now supports more devices on additional versions of iOS — namely those beta builds listed above. It also adds new app icons that can be applied to display on the Home Screen instead of the original.

As a package manager app, Misaka is a place where you can search for, install, and manage your favorite add-ons for the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and the kfd exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2. Misaka also hosts JavaScript-based add-ons for iOS & iPadOS 17.

Misaka recently added a function to install TrollStore 2 on kfd exploit-vulnerable devices as well.

If you’re an existing Misaka user, then you can safely install the latest .ipa file over your existing installation. Those who aren’t taking advantage of Misaka yet can acquire the .ipa from the project’s GitHub page and follow one of our installation tutorials below:
