Learn how to go through all the comments you have ever made under YouTube videos and delete or edit them as needed.
YouTube keeps a record of all the comments you have made on the platform. It lets you see them in a single place and take action.
On a computer
1) Visit YouTube and make sure you’re signed in with your Google account.
2) Click the three-line icon on the top left and select History.
3) Now bring your attention to the right side and click Comments under the Manage All History section.
4) If you think a comment is embarrassing, rude, or something you don’t like, simply click the X button in the top right to delete the comment.
5) If you want to edit it, click the comment, and it will load that video in a new tab. Next, scroll to the comments section, and it should show your comment on the top. Hit the three dots icon next to the comment and choose Edit to make the changes.
On mobile
Follow these steps on your iPhone or Android device to see all the YouTube comments you have ever made.
1) Open the YouTube app and tap You from the bottom right.
2) Tap the gear icon from the top and select Your data in YouTube from the next screen.
3) Scroll down and tap More.
4) Choose N comments to see them all. From there, you can delete or edit a comment just like you can on a computer.
Note that if you are asked to sign in, do that using your email and password. In case you are taken to Safari browser, and the comments don’t show up even after signing in, just close that browser tab and follow the above steps again to tap N Comments. Now, it should show all your comments without re-authentication.
