We continue to march towards the inevitable public release of Apple’s next big operating system updates. Before that can happen, though, developer and public beta testers need to get their hands on prerelease software. The goal? Test out the platforms, work out the bugs, develop apps, and prepare for the next big thing.
Today marks Apple’s continued effort in that regard. The company has seeded the third betas of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15 to developers. It’s likely that the corresponding public betas will be seeded in due time. However, now’s the time where we say that this software shouldn’t be installed on daily drivers, as it may still be rough around the edges.
That being said, the new betas are available now for those registered with the developer program. They can be installed now as over-the-air software updates on each eligible device, as long as proper profiles are installed.
