If you are part of the public beta testing program, then you have new pre-release software to install today.
Apple on Thursday, after seeding the corresponding fourth developer beta, officially seeded the fourth betas of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to public beta testers.
As far as what’s new in this beta, it should correspond with all of the new tweaks and additions Apple made to the fourth developer beta it seeded earlier this week. Those new changes include the return of 3D Touch (which Apple removed in previous beta seeds), a better, more robust widget for the Apple TV app, and support for Apple’s and Google’s Exposure Notification to help contact trace the spread of COVID-19.
If there are any new discoveries made in the second public beta, we will update this post accordingly.
