If you are part of the public beta testing program, then you have new pre-release software to install today.
Apple on Thursday, after seeding the third developer betas, officially seeded the second betas of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to public beta testers. At the time of publication it does not appear that Apple is ready to seed the first public beta of watchOS 7 just yet, however. So if you’re waiting for that, you’ll be waiting a bit longer (but Apple could still seed it later today).
As far as what’s new in this beta, it should correspond with all of the new tweaks and additions Apple made to the third developer beta it seeded earlier this week. That includes a new app icon for Apple Music, as well as a new widget and Snapchat integration, a new Clock widget, and more.
If there are any new discoveries made in the second public beta, we will update this post accordingly.
