Learn how to browse the movies and TV shows your family members have purchased from the iTunes Store and stream or download them in the TV app on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Family Sharing is integrated into the Library tab of the built-in TV app. You can see and download your family members’ movie and TV show purchases from your iPhone or iPad. This is something that you might want to take advantage of if you have set up the Family Sharing option on your Apple devices.

On iPhone and iPad
- Open the TV app on your iOS device.
- Tap the Library tab on your iPhone. If you are on an iPad, tap the sidebar icon from the upper left side to see it.

You can narrow down the list with sorting options. You can browse by TV show, Movies, or Genres. You can also scroll through a carrousel of Recently Purchased items. If you find something you like, tap an item to see its description!
From there, you can start streaming the movie or TV show or download the video to your device for offline viewing.
On Mac

- Select Family Sharing from the left sidebar.
- Now, select your family member’s name to see the movies and TV shows they have purchased.
If you can’t see the media your family members have purchased
Keep in mind that accounts enrolled in Family Sharing can opt to stop sharing their media and app purchases by venturing into Settings > Family > Purchase Sharing. From here, they can tap Stop Purchase Sharing. This stops other family members from seeing their iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store purchases.
If you can’t find a purchase by a family member, ask them to follow the above steps and tap Purchase Sharing > Continue > Turn On.
In case the problem continues, sign out of your Apple ID and sign in again.
