Learn how view all blocked phone numbers and email addresses on your iPhone so you can unblock them if needed.
Back in the “old days,” the only way to block people from calling us was to either take the phone off the hook or unplug it from the wall. But nowadays, we can block unwanted callers, spam calls and texts from certain senders with a couple of taps on our devices.
Before you can unblock a numbers, however, you must know who you’ve blocked in the first place. Follow the steps ahead to see all blocked numbers on your iPhone and see who you’ve blocked in the Mail app.
View all blocked numbers, email addresses and contacts on your iPhone
iOS has a central location to view a list of all mobile phone numbers, contacts, and email addresses you’ve blocked. You can get to it from the settings for the built-in Phone, Messages, FaceTime, and Mail apps.
Open the Settings app and choose Apps at the very bottom, then select FaceTime, Mail, Messages, or Phone. Don’t worry, all these apps show the same block list, so you can choose any. Next, tap Blocked Contacts (for Mail, it’s just Blocked) to se all mobile numbers, contacts, and email addresses you’ve blocked. You can tap any entry to view details or swipe left over it and choose Unblock to do just that. Or, hit Edit and use the red minus button to unblock.
Maybe you have a change of heart about someone you blocked. Or perhaps you blocked a person accidentally. Either way, now you know how to view a master blacklist of all blocked numbers, contacts, and email addresses on your iPhone.
Some apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Gmail have their own blocking features; use their internal settings to make the necessary changes because Apple’s master blacklist only applies to its own Phone, Messages, FaceTime and Mail apps.
